Loved this place. Many good curry options served buffet style. Service was a little confusing but it all worked out.

Took us two tries to find this restaurant, but we made it eventually. There is outdoor seating, which we chose, shaded by very large trees. There is a buffet, but we ordered off the menu and loved it. Our waiter was a little surly, but the food was plentiful and delicious and fresh. If you order tea, ask the waiter, since there are many kinds: hot, cold, with milk, without milk, with sugar, etc.

You can tell this place is loved by the locals because there are always plenty of people there at any time of day. We were recommended it by our AirBnB host, so we decided to start off our day there. We ordered two Roti Canai and two Teh Tarik (pulled tea) and there couldn't possibly have been a better breakfast. The roti was delicious and crunchy and it came with two different curries to dip it into. One seemed to be tomato based and the other was something else. Whatever it was, it was great! The sweetness of the tea went perfectly with the savory breakfast. The whole thing for 2 people cost about 5RM. We came back several times to Gandhi's during our trip. The people working there were super sweet and friendly. They recognized us and chatted every time we came back. We also tried their buffet, which I recommend for lunch. They've got so many different things to offer, it really is a vegetarian paradise!

Despite the fact that Brickfields is an extremely crowded and busy area, Gandhi's vegetarian restaurant is located in a very nice quiet place. The food is self service -- you go up to a buffet table and spoon your own stuff into a banana leaf lined plate, take it to the table and start eating. The waiter will come and price your food and take drink orders. There's a great variety of very tasty dishes available, from spicy varuvel to Chinese style vegetarian char-Siew. It's all good but vegans should be aware that some dishes do have milk products. By the way the location listed in Yelp is incorrect. The actual address is 28 Jalan Scott Scott Sentral Service, Suite 3A/05, Ground Floor, Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur 50470 Malaysia
